"Late Bloomer"
This piece celebrates of the Year of the Woman. It speaks of the joys of having reached those years when accumulated knowlege and life experience bring wisdom as well as a sense of freedom to explore one's own spirit. The ravens are symbolic of Odin's two ravens, Thought and Memory.
29"h x 15"w x  6"l
Cast in bronze and finished in a semi-transparent polychrome patina.

"Prairie Rose"
I created this piece with a sense of reflection on the history of the Native American. This little girl would have been born into the world of the prairie horse culture and would have looked forward to a life lived very much as her ancestors. A life of nomadic freedom and very little change.
I chose to finish this sculpture in a patina very much like the clay in which it was rendered which gives it the warmth in which I envisioned it.

I happened to see a photograph of a young raven, hunched over in the rain and looking extremely grouchy and miserable. With his feathers all askew, he reminded me of a little boy just out of bed with hair sticking up in all directions and grumpy with sleep.
"Bad Hair Day"
23"h x 16"w x  14"d
Cast in bronze and finished in a semi-transparent polychrome patina.

A full moon combined with Raven as a magical being.
"Magical Moonrise"
"Pup and Saucer"
I find bull dogs wonderful to sculpt - their expressions combined with the many folds in their skin make them interesting subjects. This guy is having a fine time sliding on a snow saucer.

Cast in bronze and finished in a semi-transparent polychrome patina.

Unique Castings

This piece is loosely based on  ceremonial dances performed by the pueblo Indians of the Southwest. The Kachinas dance around the lip of a wooden bowl which is symbolic of a traditional  Hopi kiva.
A raven is perched on the side of a wooden bowl containing some   interesting bits that a raven might treasure. These will form the beginning of a collection of memorabilia of your own.
8"h x 15"w x  15"d
Cast in bronze and finished in a semi-transparent polychrome patina. Wooden Bowl
